As a luxury tour operator we are one of the most established in the UK with countless awards under our belt. We have been named the winner of ‘Favourite Tour Operator’ 2011 and 2012 as voted for by readers of Condé Nast Traveller. We were the first tour operator in the history of the Condé Nast Traveller Magazine Readers' Awards to have achieved this.
In 2011 ITC Classics (now the Inspiring Travel Company) was voted Best Luxury Operator at the Travel Weekly Globes which was the travel industry's most prestigious awards event, driven by agent votes and testament to our ongoing commitment to independent travel agents across the UK.
We won The Ingeus Employer of the Year award at The Post Regional Business Awards 2013; an award which highlights, yet again, that whilst everyone who works at ITC is deadly serious about our clients' holidays, we also know how to enjoy ourselves and be a very happy team too!
Indeed, our ethics are firmly routed in our company's values; we believe in a happy workforce, which has resulted in being on the prestigious Sunday Times Best 100 Small Companies To Work For list in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. In 2014, we also won the top award for Wellbeing. So, you can trust us when we say a happy workforce is a productive one!
In 2014, we were named The Sunday Times Travel Editor’s choice; our CEO Jennifer Atkinson picked up the top prize in the business category at the Inspiring Women Awards in Manchester; and we made it to the final three for the Cheshire Business Awards Employer of the Year.
In 2015 we were a finalist in the Cheshire Business Awards, and in the Liverpool Daily Post Regional Business Awards. In 2016 our CEO was also named EY Entrepreneur of the Year in the North; a fantastic achievement.
