From a young age, I knew I wanted a career in travel. Initially my dream job was to become an air stewardess – it looked so glamorous, plus you got to travel and see the world!

After leaving college I started at a small independent agency, working my way up to an Assistant Manager where I stayed for the next ten years. This was followed by a move into the luxury travel market where I experienced some the world’s finest resorts and hotels and never looked back!

I’ve been in the travel industry for over 30 years, and I can’t wait to share my knowledge and experiences with you.

Favourite destination: Italy

It has to be Italy. What’s not to love? The food, the wine, the fabulous countryside, stunning coastlines and historical places of interest.

Favourite hotel: Soneva Fushi

It feels like pure paradise and is everything that a Maldives island resort should be! They have a no news, no shoes philosophy so you can completely switch off from the pressures of the modern world and unwind. The service is personal and attentive, and your villa butler attends to your every whim. I left feeling revitalised and refreshed, desperate to return someday!
