I started in the travel industry in March 2005 after a successful year of travelling and playing football in Australia the year before. I wanted to put my knowledge and experience of destinations to good use and help to inspire people’s tailor-made dream holidays and bespoke itineraries.

Best/Stand Out Travel Moment

Apart from my honeymoon to the Maldives and holiday in Dubai in June 2018, my best travel moment was probably my first ever educational trip to Hong Kong in June 2006. At Heathrow, not knowing what to expect, we were all upgraded to British Airways business class, which really was an amazing experience and one to treasure. Hong Kong itself is beautiful, very vibrant and lively. The largest Buddhist temple and The Peak - the pinnacle of Hong Kong Island - both offer breath taking views of the harbour and are the city’s must-see attractions.

Favourite Destination

Putting Australia to one side, as it is a wonderful country with so much to discover and explore, I enjoy talking and confidently selling the Maldives, Mauritius and the Seychelles – all of which have so much to see and offer in terms of tranquillity, luxury and intimacy, and having been to all those places, my learning experience from them has been second to none. I also love New York and Las Vegas, but I’ve truly fallen in love with the Caribbean. With such a laid-back approach to life, warm sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and the added touch of their popular night life, the islands certainly offer something different to help you relax and refresh from the high demands of modern-day life.

Favourite Hotel

I have been blessed and very fortunate with some of the properties I’ve stayed at throughout my time in travel, but both the Banyan Tree and the Four Seasons in the Seychelles stand out. Perched high up on a cliffside with the added value of the truly luxurious, spacious villas, they certainly offer some of the finest views to match anywhere in the world. I’ve also very fond memories of the stunning Ozen by Atmosphere at Maadhoo Island in the Maldives as I stayed there during my honeymoon and enjoyed their impeccable service.
