Do you have a ‘travel crush’? Every luxury-lover and avid traveller has a list of ‘must-see’ destinations; places with the wow factor that are constantly popping up on Instagram and giving us all a serious case of wanderlust. Two such locations, Oman and the Seychelles, are attracting many holidaymakers in search of natural beauty with a healthy dose of indulgence. What’s more, within these coveted countries there are some simply stunning resorts; notably those from the celebrated Six Senses hotel group.
With faultless service, breathtaking locations and spacious, stylish accommodation, we highly recommend Six Senses Zighy Bay, Oman, and Six Senses Zil Payson, Seychelles for those who wish to cross these destinations off their list. Either as stand-alone holidays or as part of the ultimate luxury twin-centre escapes, these properties have much to recommend them.
Six Senses Zighy Bay, Oman
Hidden within the majestic Al Hajar mountain range, you'll feel a world away from daily life at Six Senses Zighy Bay, and with a 1,600 metre stretch of immaculate coast, there's also a sense of spaciousness in this secluded spot. This spectacular resort celebrates its 10th birthday and we believe it’s only getting better with age…
Low-rise villas here follow Omani building traditions, yet also enjoy chic and luxurious interiors that will please the most discerning of guests. Dining is equally impressive, a highlight being Sense on the Edge; the resort's signature restaurant, which is set on a hilltop for magnificent views. The jewel in the crown is undoubtedly the award-winning Six Senses Spa. Spacious treatment rooms, two Arabian Hammams and a host of rejuvenating therapies await the weary traveller.
Inspiring Travel Company’s Kate Popham visited Six Senses Zighy Bay earlier in the year and you can see more of her experience in this video:
Six Senses Zil Payson
Opened in October 2016, Six Sense Zil Payson is just about to celebrate its first birthday, making it Zighy Bay’s younger, but no less impressive, sibling.
Located on its own private island, this resort is truly idyllic, with all those Seychelles clichés of powder-soft white sands, piercingly blue Indian Ocean waters and luscious island interiors.
Some 30 incredibly private villas here feature either one or two bedrooms, infinity-edge pools with ocean views and spacious grounds. All also enjoy the services of a personal Guest Experience Maker, who will get to know your every preference and provide intuitive service.
We think these two Six Senses Resorts sound like a match made in heaven. Are you inspired to twin a mountain hideaway with a private island idyll? Speak to a Travel Specialist about your own Six Senses twin centre.;
