6 reasons to visit Parklane Limassol
The globally renowned brand, The Luxury Collection demonstrates its penchant for luxury with Parklane Limassol. Perfect for both families and couples with an excellent kids’ club and a designated adults-only area, which comprises of the Lifestyle Suites Sea View, as well as the Lifestyle outdoor pool. The impressive appearance of the resort is equalled only by facilities that include five à la carte restaurants, the largest spa on the island and 300 metres of sandy beach.
We sent Travel Specialist Kelsey Froggett to discover everything that Parklane Limassol has to offer and she has returned from the lap of luxury to provide us with her top 6 reasons for visiting:

Get Kelsey’s expert opinion on this tremendous hotel and find about more about what makes it so special below.
1. Unbeatable Location
This hotel surrounds you with everything you could possibly need for a flawless holiday and then so much more, right on your doorstep. Limassol is Cyprus’s largest coastal town and, here, a cosmopolitan buzz combines with beachside vibes and historic ruins to create a unique destination with lashings of charm.
The resort is located just a ten-minute drive from the town’s many hotspots, which include a modern marina, quaint Old Harbour, a castle to explore and cobbled streets in the town’s older parts. A little further out there’s also an amphitheatre and other ancient Greek ruins to explore.
Even without venturing into town, though, the location is pretty impressive. Set in almost 25 acres of landscaped gardens, with winding lanes snaking through it, the resort is edged by a 300-metre stretch of beautiful sandy beach. Luxurious surroundings, if ever I’ve seen them.
2. Chic Accommodation
The accommodation at Parklane Limassol is a treat for guests. With interior design by Harrods Interiors, you’ll find refined décor complemented by subtle Cypriot references in whichever room type you choose. And what a choice there is!
Superior and Deluxe Guestrooms here are spacious (36-44sqm), offering either inland or sea views from their balconies. Or, for that added luxury, the staggering Diamond Suite is a 246 sq m ultra-luxe living space for two that has its own infinity swimming pool that merges with the shimmering sea beyond. It doesn’t get much better than that.
Great for families, or those travelling with a larger party, the secluded Park Suites here are built to resemble town houses and feature one, two and three bedrooms, as well as their own private pool and, in 2020, Deluxe Sea View accommodation will have a sofa bed added so that they will be able to accommodate a family of four (children up to 12 years).
3. Dining Delights
Foodies, fear not – at Parklane Limassol you will be spoilt for choice at mealtimes, with five options including an all-day dining restaurant, Lanes; hip beach bar, Vithos, for cool drinks and tasty snacks or light meals; and within the lobby there is a small Sushi Bar where guests are welcome to order freshly made sushi and sashimi at any time.
Should you wish to sample the local Cypriot cuisine then head to Dafne, where local delicacies are served from the à la carte menu. Additionally, there is the Italian Il Teatro and The Grill Room, specialising in meat dishes like its dry-aged beef that is displayed in beef-ageing refrigerated cabinets and is one of the most delicious dishes I have ever sampled.
One truly unique highlight here is Islands, a restaurant specialising in fish & seafood. This open-air dining venue is arranged on small islands floating in a pool, each of which is its own private dining area and is named after a Mediterranean island!
4. Family Fun
If you’re travelling with little ones, you will be well looked after here. The Park Kidz kids’ club is the best I’ve ever seen and will wow kids of all ages with its 3,000 sq m of indoor and outdoor play space that includes a themed castle, and swimming pool complete with pirate ship and water slides!
Activities and games are available at the complimentary kids’ club for 3 to 12-year-olds, while smaller ones can be cared for the crèche at additional cost, ensuring that parents can enjoy a relaxing break with no worries. And this is just the start of the family-friendly provision here.
In addition to the spacious one, two and three-bedroom duplex Park Suites, families will find a host of options to suit them. Superior and Deluxe rooms are spacious and sleep up to two adults and two children in comfort, while Family Suites are designed with little ones in mind and sleep up to three adults and four children.
5. Wonderful Wellness
Another impressive provision for children and young people is the football academy that operates here over Easter week in April, May and October half-terms, as well as for three consecutive weeks end of July and beginning of August, with input from none other than footballing legends such as Michael Owen, Dimitar Berbatov, Jermain Jenas, Jack Wilshere, Danny Murphy, Wes Brown, and supported by Premier League academy pro coaches.
But it’s not just youngsters who’ll have their fitness needs catered to; the Parkfit Pool & Gym boasts state-of-the-art equipment as well as an aerobics and Pilates studio, archery facilities and three tennis courts, while three outdoor pools, a watersports centre and PADI diving centre mean you can get your fix of exercise and activity.
If you like your holiday wellness experience to be a little more leisurely, the 3,000 sq m Kalloni Spa – complete with two outdoor and three indoor thalassotherapy pools, 14 treatment rooms and three treatment suites – is the place to be.
6. Great for Grown Up’s
Looking for a more ‘grown-up’ Cyprus holiday experience? There are plenty of sophisticated enclaves in this luxury resort that are the sole preserve of adults and designed to whisk you away from reality and place you on an oasis of comfort.
In fact, overlooking the relaxing adult-only pool you’ll find the Lifestyle Suites; a separate accommodation block reserved specifically for over-18s. This is the perfect choice for a quiet retreat as a couple, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Another ideal spot for adults to escape are the well-appointed cabanas that are found around the outdoor areas. They are available to hire and come complete with towels, fruit platter, non-alcoholic stocked mini bar, and a butler. I couldn’t recommend renting one more as it is the perfect place to unwind in style.
Perfect for both families and couples, everyone is catered to here and the entire resort is even fitted with disabled access ramps and lifts. The real genius of Parklane Limassol is that it manages to be the perfect fly and flop destination to travel to with the kids, and also appeal to those that love the glitz and glamour or want an intimate escape. The different ways in which to experience the hotel never cross over, allowing you to enjoy your holiday your way.
