The flagship property of LUX* Resorts & Hotels re-opened on 1 September 2014, now boasting a wide variety of accommodation options including villas, rooms and suites which have been designed by Kelly Hoppen. Features include coffee makers supplied with fresh coffee, his and hers minibars and all-new in-room entertainment systems.
Among the new landscaped gardens are pop-up places to wine and dine, while in the main restaurant M.I.X.E you’ll be wowed by live cooking demonstrations; just one of the many dining options available here. Guest DJs are a regular attraction at the Beach Rouge for guests who want to dance the night away.
When relaxation is the order of the day, head to the LUX* Me spa. Zhengliao, a corrective treatment drawing on several branches of Chinese medicine, is one of the new signature treatments which sit alongside the spas new facial treatments. Yoga fans will be in heaven at the new East Boardwalk Deck where the resident yoga guru takes classes at sunrise.
Unique aspects of your stay include the Reasons To Go LUX* offerings; such as movies on the beach and exploring the night sky by telescope.
On a recent visit to the resort, our Travel Specialist Lucy Briggs said: “We really enjoyed the Cafe Lux; a small coffee shop within the hotel. They make all their own coffee and guests experience the staff making it and even help to grind it. They also have a small unit outside by the pool area and beach where they have all sorts of different fresh juices in the morning and then it changes in the afternoon to an ice cream and ice-lolly stall where they use all fresh ingredients.”;
