Our insight: Four Seasons Resort Seychelles

Kelsey Froggett | 10 Jun, 2016

Kelsey Froggett was another of our lucky Travel Specialists who visited the Seychelles back in December. Along with Natalite Russell-Blackburn Perkins and Holly Westwood, she toured the archipeligo's finests hotels and resorts. Here she's tells us about her overall impressions of the islands and one of her favourite resorts.

When we were coming into land on Mahe - the Seychelles main island - I was immediately surprised at how green the islands were. The turquoise waters and powder white beaches immediately made me feel like I’d arrived in paradise! Everywhere you looked was a picture perfect moment; I was completely blown away by its beauty.

Four Seasons Resort Seychelles stood out for me among the host of amazing place I was lucky enough to experience. The resort is a great all rounder, great everyone from honeymooners, to families with children of all ages. Without a doubt the Four Seasons has the most incredible beach, it really was phenomenal! The whitest powdery sand I have ever seen. Like walking on a bed of talcum powder!

The staff offer outstanding service and they really do blow you away with the personal touches. For exampla, we each received spa goodies at the end of the stay personalised to our star signs!

We stayed in an Ocean View Villa, which had breathtaking views. The bathrooms were huge, offering an outdoor shower, a large sunken bath that I'm pretty sure you could fit a family of four in! All of this, and floor to ceiling windows, so you're never taken away from that view!

The breakfast at the Four Seasons was incredible. Imagine your ideal breakfast and I gaurantee it will be on offer there! There was a really impressive amount of choice, from the buffet selection as well as from the a la carte menu. Everything was so well presented and with a nice glass of Champagne, what better way to start your day?

We were lucky enough to take part in a morning yoga session before breakfast, which was located on the pavilion set on the hilltop of the spa, looking straight out to the Indian Ocean.

I would love to return to the Seychelles and can genuinely recommend it, both to couples looking for a romantic getaway/honeymoon and families seeking a relaxing break on the beach or an adventure in the jungles.
