THE CLIFF BEACH CLUB OPENS IN BARBADOS

Inspiring Travel Company | 12 Jun, 2015

At the Inspiring Travel Company, we're always excited to offer our clients insider knowledge, recommending the best places to eat, drink and indulge wherever they are in the world. For us, Barbados is were it all began, and with our CEO and many other members of staff returning to the island year on year, we pride ourselves on having true insider knowledge that will make your luxury Barbados holiday all the more special.

Our latest scoop is the opening of a new beachside restaurant - The Cliff Beach Club - last Saturday, which we just know will be a hit! Within easy reach of many of the island's most desirable hotels, such as Sandy Lane and Tamarind by Elegant Hotels, this new venue is sure to attract those in the know, who will already be familiar with the name 'The Cliff'. The parent restaurant of the new Beach Club has a reputation across the world as a truly special culinary experience.

Set in a small cove, with perfectly positioned al fresco dining that takes in all the glory of the Bajan sunset, The Cliff has been wowing clients for years with its exquisite cuisine and impeccable service. The restaurant itself resembles an elegant ship and as darkness falls fire-torches are lit all along its upper and lower decks, making light dance on the waters below and creating the feel of being at sea. Every course served here is a work of art and The Cliff has long been an oversubscribed, decadent dining option, for which gastronomes travel from all over the island. At the Inspiring Travel Company we know it’s a firm favourite with our discerning clientele, for whom our Concierge service often make advance reservations.

Retaining the same innovative and enticing approach to its menus, but with a more informal atmosphere, The Cliff Beach Club is now just next door. The architecture here echoes that of The Cliff, but blends nicely into the beach below. If you desire an exotic cocktail accompanied by a killer view, then pull up a stool at the newly fitted bar, which faces the Caribbean Sea and the blue skies beyond.

Open for both lunch and dinner, menus offer classic favourites with an haute cuisine twist. A club sandwich of Lobster, Avocado and Truffle; Grilled Wild Tiger Prawns and Octopus Carpaccio are just a few of the mouth-watering offerings on the lunch menu alone. With a less formal dress code, this new club offers laid-back luxury, and is a perfect choice for families seeking a lunchtime treat on their Barbados holiday.

As night falls the dining options become even finer, but the place maintains an air of informality that rarely accompanies such exceptional cuisine. And whether you choose to sample this newly opened delight, its more established neighbour, or both, on your next Caribbean adventure, our Concierge service at the Inspiring Travel Company can make reservations ahead of your arrival, taking another thing off your pre-holiday to-do list and guaranteeing you a sumptuous dinner you'll remember forever.
