The magic of Morocco

This year I feel like I have been a real jet setter what with travelling to Ibiza, Canada, Athens, Morocco and Italy. My favourite so far has to be my most recent trip to Morocco; staying at La Mamounia and Kasbah Tamadot which both offered such a wonderful experience. From the hustle bustle of the main square and medina’s where you can find yourself a real bargain, to the peace and quiet of the Atlas Mountains; it was just superb.

I simply could not fault La Mamounia as the hotel is immaculately maintained and from the moment I arrived I knew my stay was going to be everything I imagined it to be and more.

The staff were so friendly and helpful and were so ahead of the game in my opinion… before you could even ask for a drink, a menu is already there in front of you. Now that’s what you call service!

I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel as everything about it was simply perfect! Kasbah Tamadot was equally exceptional but offers a completely different experience in the Atlas Mountains in such beautiful and peaceful surrounds.

Here I dined in their rooftop terrace where I sampled delicious cuisine. A memory that will certainly stay with me is after dinner I watched the moon rise above the Atlas Mountains using one of the most fanciest telescopes I have ever scene! This was such an incredible experience…I could even see the craters on the surface.

Just a few short hours flight from home and offering year-round sunshine, Morocco is an excellent choice for excellent winter weather and I would not hesitate in recommending either of these superb properties.
