Itinerary

Take the first steps on your trip as you head from the UK onto your flight to Auckland, New Zealand.
Arrive in Auckland and take a private transfer to your hotel from the airport.
On your first full day in Auckland, rest up from your long flight and enjoy some sights in this large metropolitan city on the North Island. You can head to the major attractions such as Auckland Zoo, Auckland War Memorial Museum or the Winter Gardens.
Today you'll take a private transfer to the port and embark on your Seabourn Odyssey adventure.
Sail to the first major port of call on this itinerary. Tauranga Rotorua is the location of New Zealand's only active volcano, White Island. Due to the volcanic activity here, there are plenty of opportunities to visit the geothermal geysers, bubbling mud pools and gorgeous conservation areas.
A superb time to relax away from the hustle and bustle of life on land. Today you'll have all day to experience the fantastic Seabourn Odyssey's eateries, such as The Observation bar, which boasts fabulous views of the passing ocean and delicious beverages, cakes, sandwiches and ice cream.
One of the sunniest spots in New Zealand, Nelson is known for its excellent wines and fishing reputation – be sure to taste some! Head to the Herzog, a fine-dining restaurant, after a 90-minute drive through hills, plains and mountain ranges. For thrill-seekers, join in with the quad bike adventure and zipline through Nelson's beautiful scenery.
Visit the urban centre of Wellington, nestled on the south coast of the North Island. Much like the rest of the beautiful country, you don't have to go far looking for overwhelmingly beautiful natural spots - Wellington is surrounded by forest and cliffs, making it an impressive capital city. For Lord of the Rings fans, head to The Shire and Weta Studios, where much of the filming took place. You can also learn to paddle in a traditional Waka with a local Maori tribe.
As you drift into Akaroa, a picturesque little resort village around 50 miles from Christchurch, you'll notice the beautifully painted building surrounded by the looming mountains. Take in the gorgeous sights in a hair-raising helicopter and jet boat adventure over the Banks Peninsula, or take a cooking class at the wharf.
Cruise into Port Chalmers, Dunedin, for the day and visit what is considered the most Scottish city in New Zealand due to its settler heritage. Visit Larnach Castle for a high tea and guided tour of the historic landmark, or e-bike the Otago Peninsula, taking in views of the scenic coastline as you go.
Visit the unspoilt natural beauty of Oban, a town located just off the south coast of the South Island. The untouched nature of the area makes it a fantastic place for bird spotting and wildlife viewing; head out around Stewart Island to spot albatross and penguins. If you'd rather keep your feet on the ground, take an escorted walk with a knowledgeable guide.
Cruise past the stunning scenery of the Fiordland National Park (Te Wahipounamu), New Zealand's largest National Park. Photographers and nature lovers alike will love seeing the misted green mountains as you cruise past. You'll also enjoy seeing the remote Milford Sound, a beautiful fiord with rainwater, waterfalls and wildlife to spot as you go.
Your second day at sea. Today, explore the ship a little more. Enjoy Champagne in your suite as you watch the world go by and head out for a special evening meal at the Thomas Keller Grill.
Another day of rest and relaxation is ahead of you today. Take up a treatment at the beautiful spa on board ship and warm up in the whirlpools as you sail on to your next port of call. Have a wander around the shops and grab a coffee at the bar in Seabourn Square.
Your final day at sea before reaching the vibrant city of Melbourne. Take in a show at the Grand Salon, dance the evening away in The Club or pop to the on board casino and play at the tables.
This is your first stop in Australia; what a destination to start you off! Melbourne is a laid-back city with plenty of attractions to grab your attention. This is the home of many unique sports venues, including the Grand Prix and Cricket. Visit the Melbourne Zoo, Royal Park and the Yarra River. Don't forget about lunch; the city has a broad range of restaurants and bars, including delicious Greek, Australian and Middle Eastern foods.
Not far from Melbourne is where you'll stop at your next port of call. Phillip Island is filled with beautiful beaches and a rather unique penguin parade attraction, where the penguins travel from the sea across the beach to their nests for the evening roost. One of the other fantastic highlights on the island is the island's racing circuit, where you can take a spin with a professional race car driver.
This is your final full day at sea. Enjoy the ship's brilliant restaurants, bars and facilities, including the walkways, spa, casino, shops and whirlpools.
The penultimate stop on your adventure on the high seas. This beautiful coastal town packs a punch. Enjoy a gentle walking safari photography session where you’ll be guided past some of Eden's stand out scenic areas or explore the peaceful wilderness by kayak along the Kiah River.
This is your disembarking day from the Seabourn Odyssey; take a private transfer to your hotel in Sydney for your three-night post-cruise stay.
Wake up in Sydney and get ready to enjoy the city in all its glory. The Harbour City has so much to explore; why not start with a trip on the water to view Sydney's iconic Opera House? Or, head to the wildlife attractions such as Taronga Zoo or Wild Life Sydney Zoo. The city is quite easy to wander through, and you'll find a lot of hidden gems and hotspots along the way.
The final day of your adventure in Australia. Visit Bondi Beach or head north to find a quieter spot. Walk across the Harbor Bridge for spectacular views of the city, or head into Chinatown to participate in the dazzling Lunar New Year celebrations.
Take your private transfer to Sydney airport for a flight back to the UK.
