Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp
This remote and isolated lodge – accessible only by light aircraft - offers excellent game viewing of the desert adapted wildlife. The camp has seven luxurious glass fronted tents plus one family tent – each is en suite with shaded outdoor decks.
Situated in the Palmwag concession, you will search for desert adapted elephant and other plains game. Enjoy walks through Hoanib’s lunar-like landscape. The lodge offers full day excursions to the Skeleton Coast with stays of three nights or more; here you may be lucky enough to see some of the existing shipwrecks and Cape fur seal colonies. Depending on the weather, you could enjoy a scenic flight back towards the camp. You will have game drives, walks and the opportunity to interact with the researchers if they are in camp and available.
