Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace
Perched high above the desert capital of Jodhpur, Umaid Bhawan Palace is the last of the great palaces of India.
Completed in 1943, this golden-yellow sandstone monument was conceived on the grandest possible scale, in the fashionable Art Deco style of that time. It remains the residence of the Jodhpur royal family, offering guests a privileged lifestyle experience whilst staying in one of the 56 lavish guest rooms and suites. Murals and gardens add to the beauty of its majestic architecture.
