Situated just moments from the Tiger Reserve (Tala Zone) of Bandhavgarh lies the Monsoon Forest, set within a tranquil setting of 10 acres of grasslands and trees. With its focus on reforestation and preserving the forest, at Monsoon Forest guests can learn about the ecology and conservation of the tiger from the specially trained guides.
Monsoon Forest is home to just 6 tents and 6 nests or eco-cottages which lie beneath the shade of the Mahua trees. Tents are equipped with air conditioning, a living area, wooden floors, custom-made furniture and an en-suite bathroom. Nests offer the same amenities but also feature verandas where intimate meals can be enjoyed.
At Monsoon Forest, sit back and relax in the main lodge or Baithak where there is a veranda with views of the surrounding area, an art gallery and a library.
Enjoy delicious wholesome meals prepared with local ingredients and produce from the vegetable garden and in-house bakery as well as, fresh juices and smoothies. Meals can be enjoyed under the Mahua tree, in a private setting or even on safari in the form of a safari Tiffin. Facilities at Monsoon Forest also include a swimming pool and spa (soon to be opened).
Please note: The National Park opens from 16th October until 30th June.
