With an open-plan design and views of the South China Sea, Fusion Maia has a zen-like atmosphere.
The resort consists of 87 well-appointed villas each boasting its own pool and courtyard garden. With an emphasis on retaining the natural environment, all of the villas have been designed to be low-rise and blend in. The décor is breezy with whitewashed walls, dark teak furnishings and bamboo detailing.
The stand-out feature of this resort is the all-inclusive spa concept. A unique wellness plan (Natural Living Programme) has been devised with seven daily themes on which spa therapies and wellness activities are based. The spa complex is set in a tropical garden with a swimming pool and waterfall. There are 16 treatment rooms, two outdoor massage pavilions, steam and sauna rooms, yoga studio, wellness library, private Jacuzzi and two beauty salons. A minimum of two treatments per person, per day, are guaranteed during your stay.
Other amenities include an incredible infinity pool that extends out over the South China Sea and three dining outlets. For food, indulge in the resort’s all-day breakfast which offers breakfast service anytime, anywhere, even if it’s 3 pm and you’re on the beach. There are also flavoursome Pan-Asian dishes made from local ingredients at Five Dining Room, and Asian-inspired tapas and high tea at the Tonic Lounge. Fresh near the main pool has a menu of healthy salads, flatbread and exotic juices.
