Sea Dragon Lodge

Sea Dragon Lodge sits on the most eastern point of Kangaroo Island where it overlooks its own secluded beach at Pink Bay.

Sea Dragon Lodge

This eco-friendly boutique lodge offers five luxury villas in a bushland setting where native wildlife such as kangaroos and wallabies wander freely.

Each luxury one-bedroom villa features a large open-plan living area with lounge, dining area and fully-equipped kitchen. Enjoy barbecue lunches and dinners on your spacious front deck where you can take in the ocean views…they come complete with a private heated spa!

The pristine white sand beach at Pink Bay is only a two-minute walk from the lodge, where you can sunbathe or snorkel around the rocky edges of the bay where fish life is prolific and kangaroos and wallabies often cross the beach, while dolphins and seals are often spotted in the bay too.

The lodge is located 30-minutes’ drive from the ferry terminal at Penneshaw and 60 minutes from Kingscote Airport. Kangaroo Island offers unique landscapes and an array of native flora and fauna which can be explored on a private tour or independently with your own vehicle. Nearby Cape Willoughby Lighthouse offers tours most days and the spectacular granite cliffs of Devil’s Kitchen are only a 30-minute walk from Sea Dragon Lodge. Walk amongst a colony of Australian sea lions at Seal Bay and marvel at spectacular rock formations, The Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch at Flinders Chase National Park.

Sea Dragon Lodge’s secluded location means there are no restaurants nearby, so the lodge offers pre-ordered, home-cooked meal hampers, where meals are semi pre-prepared and just need reheating in the oven or microwave, or barbecue packs can be arranged.
