This lodge is the only accommodation inside Freycinet National Park, sitting at the end of Richardson’s Beach and less than two-miles from Coles Bay.
Freycinet Lodge sits at the base of the striking pink granite Hazards Mountain Range and overlooks the blue waters of Great Oyster Bay on Tasmania’s beautiful east coast.
The 60 cabins and pavilions offer a peaceful retreat in a natural setting offering water or native bush views. Each cabin features modern amenities including flat screen televisions and air conditioning, is tastefully decorated in colours reflective of the outdoors and features polished wooden floors. The accommodations are connected to the main lodge by a series of timber walkways.
The Main Lodge houses two restaurants as well as a lounge and bar. Casual café style lunches, snacks and dinners are served at Richardson’s Bistro, offering views of Coles Bay from the expansive deck while you enjoy Tasmanian seafood, lodge burgers, steaks and grazing plates. Hearty breakfasts and gourmet dinners of seasonally inspired dishes are served in the elegant surrounds of The Bay Restaurant, accompanied by local vintages and sparkling Tasmanian wines. Here you’ll also enjoy magnificent views of Great Oyster Bay. Hazards Bar and Lounge is the social hub of the lodge, serving local beers, cool climate wines and Tasmanian whiskies.
A holiday at Freycinet Lodge is all about exploring and discovering the natural features of this spectacular part of Tasmania. Step aboard an eco-catamaran for an unforgettable cruise around the Freycinet Peninsula taking in the magnificent scenery of the Hazards Mountain Range beautiful white sand beach of Wineglass Bay.
