Relaxed luxury comes to mind when describing Laluna, a tranquil bohemian haven on the south western tip of Grenada.
The Balinese-style interiors and lush green surrounds offer a rustic, romantic getaway. Accommodation is in a suite or cottage, positioned on the hillside rising up from Morne Rouge Bay; with all options affording beautiful views and utter seclusion. There are also a handful of three to five bedroom resort villas for larger families and group who require extra space and the utmost privacy.
On the menu at Laluna’s restaurant are authentic Italian dishes and Caribbean favourites, with some ingredients sourced from the hotel’s very own organic garden. You’ll find the restaurant directly opening onto the sand beach, with views of the bay and an intimate capacity of just 36 diners.
Fans of yoga will enjoy being able to practise the discipline in Laluna’s very own Yoga Pavilion; which has been sympathetically designed within its natural surrounds. At the rejuvenating spa you’ll find the same Balinese influences that exude in the rest of the grounds, with products exclusively hand made in Bali and with treatments including massages and facials.
