The property is peaceful and has an intimate atmosphere, designed to reflect Mayan history, it was built to represent a palace building from the ancient Mayan times. There are just seven suites, each with balconies boasting garden views. Terracotta stone floors, antique furniture, embroidered cushions and bed linens make for a luxurious stay. The on-site restaurant serves international as well as regional dishes, with traditional dishes from the Tabasco and Chiapas region - the menu is printed in English, Spanish and Mayan.
