Consisting of two main islands that on the surface appear to be very different, Trinidad & Tobago offers a different twist to the Caribbean experience. Trinidad, home of calypso, the steel drum and probably the world’s best carnival, which is held annually in February, is the larger and livelier of the two.
Tobago, on the other hand, is more of a laid-back island, but both provide fantastic views, enjoyable activities and a quintessential Caribbean vibe. Both islands are a haven for wildlife enthusiasts and in particular on Tobago you’ll find the 116 square mile strip of elongated land abounds with palm-lined beaches, lush rainforests and pristine coral reefs teeming with rich marine life.
