Pine Cliffs, A Luxury Collection Resort
Discover one of Portugal’s leading resorts, surrounded by pine trees with magnificent views of impressive ochre-coloured cliffs, a sandy beach and the Atlantic’s crystal clear blue waters.
Pine Cliffs, A Luxury Collection Resort, Algarve sits within 72-hectares of lush gardens and pine forest and is made up of several luxurious enclaves, so the sheer variety of accommodation on offer means there’s really something to suit everyone. Choose a classically-styled guestroom or suite at the elegant Pine Cliffs Hotel; luxury apartments with two or three bedrooms and fully-equipped kitchens at the Pine Cliff Residence; or minimalist luxury, butler service and ocean views at Pine Cliffs Ocean Suites.
Ideal for families, the resort has a host of child-friendly features, none more so than the Porto Pirata kids’ club. Here little ones aged between six months and eight-years-old can enjoy hours of supervised fun, engaging activities and free play in the 7,000-square metre children’s village, which features a life-size pirate ship in the playground. For older kids, there’s the Junior Club, where eight to 13-year-olds are offered sports and creative activities. The whole family can join in the fun too, with everything from watersports to mini-golf on hand. Pine Cliffs Residence accommodation is spacious and located close to the children’s village, so we highly recommend this option for families staying at the resort.
Days can be spent in idle indulgence around the pools or on the beach, relaxing at the Serenity Spa or hitting a round on the 9-hole golf course. Indeed, perched 200 feet above the golden sands, the immaculate Pine Cliffs Golf Course is built in a pinewood setting with tree lined fairways and spectacular views, so we highly recommend this resort for fans of the fairways.
You’ll find just as much variety when it comes to dining, with nine restaurants (some seasonal) offering a host of mouth-watering options. Enjoy traditional Portuguese dishes, Piri Piri steak, Mediterranean cuisine, fine dining on fresh seafood or light bites down on the beach. Children are well catered for with their own buffet at selected restaurants. Alternatively, if you’re staying in one of the accommodation types equipped with its own kitchen, you can pop to the mini-market and pick up all the fresh ingredients you might need. You can even send a shopping list prior to arrival so your fridge is stocked before you’ve even checked in!
And we mustn’t forget the sandy beach of Praia de Falesio, which is accessible via a private elevator that leads onto a long wooden walkway. When down on the sands you’ll find sunshades, loungers and a beach bar serving snacks and refreshments, so you’re all set for a day in the sun!
