There are 29 log suites and alpine chalets available from April to mid-October, alongside glamping facilities for those wishing to have a more alpine experience. One Bedroom Log Suites are perfect for a romantic escape, and offer separate living room and spacious outdoor deck. One Bedroom Alpine Chalets and Two Bedroom Family Log Homes feature fitted kitchens, and some have terraces with lake views. No accommodations at Alpine Meadows Resort offer air conditioning.
Many of the activities at Alpine Meadows Resort are centred around Hallamore Lake including kayaks, canoes and boating, fishing licences are also available for resort guests. Amenities at the lake include an outdoor Jacuzzi, picnic area with fire pits and BBQ grills, children's playground and waterfront restaurant.
Nearby Wells Gray Provincial Park is British Columbia's fourth largest park and covers over 2020 sq miles of wilderness and incorporates the most southern and highest sections of the Cariboo Mountains. The southern section of the park can be explored along the Clearwater Valley Road, although hiking trails are the best way to experience this area. Wells Gray Provincial Park is well known for its waterfalls with the 141 metre Helmcken Falls being the best known.
