Set at the end of a quarter-mile alley of 225+-year-old oak trees is Oak Alley Plantation, an iconic plantation home that has been much photographed.
Known for its sugarcane exhibit and slavery at Oak Alley exhibition, the Oak Alley is a great place to discover history and explore Louisiana.
Situated away from the main house, the cottages are over a century old and feature air conditioning, heating, a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, wireless internet access, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and Tempur mattresses (most also have a television).
Breakfast and lunch take place at the Oak Alley Restaurant whilst dinner can be served in your room (must be arranged prior to arrival). Please note the nearest restaurants are 20-40 minutes drive and closed on Sundays and Mondays.
A guided tour is not included in your stay of the main house and costs approximately $25.00 plus applicable sales tax.
