Stagecoach Trails Ranch
Opened in 2000 and situated in north west Arizona approximately two and a half hours from Las Vegas, Stagecoach Trails is a guest ranch where the old west blends with the new. The ranch caters to all levels of riders (weight limit of 230lbs for trail rides) including disabled travellers with rides taking place in the arena here (the owner's daughter is handicapped, so thay have hands on experience).
The ranch is centred around the Frontier Lodge where it is possible to relax with other guests in the lounge with fireplaces, television room (the only television in the ranch is here) and play pool. Three home-cooked meals are enjoyed in the Hualapai Dining Room and evening entertainment at the ranch may include cowboy singers, campires and line dancing. The ranch has no liquor license, so it is advised that you bring your own drinks, these can be stored in the fridge in the lodge building. Accommodations are split into two buildings and there are 10 rooms in total, facing the mountains, and two additional Family Homes (all rooms are suitable for disabled travellers). All rooms and public buildings are air-conditioned, and have private baths (shampoo and soap are provided).
Please note: The ranch has helmets of all sizes for guests to borrow and they advise that you pack closed toe shoes and long trousers for riding. Stagecoach is located 45 minutes from the nearest town, Kingman, and so it is advised that you fill your car up with gas before arriving at the ranch.
