There are often both morning and afternoon rides for all abilities. Rides are grouped by ability so there is the opportunity to ride far and fast if you so wish.
About the horses:

What else can I do at the ranch?

Is the ranch suited to children?
Kids are well looked after at the Rangerider programme, created for children aged 6 to 13 years. Rangerider teaches children horseback riding and allows them to practice their riding skills in the ranches arena before heading out to the backcountry on morning and afternoon trails. Other activities of the Rangerider include obstacle courses, horse brushing, hiking, swimming, archery, rafting and lassoing a steerhead. Children 5 years and under are kept entertained by the trained staff while parents can enjoy all the ranch activities on offer. The programme for ages 5 and under, Buckaroos, offers these children the chance to be led around the ranch or arena usually twice a day. The rest of the time, they will go hiking, feed the small animals on the ranch, swimming and build forts, do arts and crafts. The kids programme typically runs from 9am-5pm with a 1-2 hour break for lunch.
