When is the best time to visit the United States?

New YorkHolidays to the United States can be enjoyed all year round, although there are of course recommended times to visit. California is best explored in spring, summer and fall, although the cities of San Francisco and Los Angeles can be visited all year. Meanwhile New England is a year round destination, as are the cities of Chicago, Boston and New York - although beware of the snow!

The states of Utah, Colorado, Wyoming and Montana are best visited from May to September; these areas can sometimes be prone to floods. Arizona and Texas but watch out for the hot weather in the summer months! Miami and Florida’s coastline can experience hurricane season from June to the end of November, and hurricanes can also occur in Kansas and Oklahoma.

Holidays to the Deep South are extremely pleasant in the spring and autumn, summers can become quite hot and winters quite cool. The Carolinas are particularly nice in the summers when the beaches can be enjoyed but can also be visited year round.

Visitors from London can fly directly into New York, Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, San Diego, Orlando, Phoenix, Tampa, Seattle, Washington DC, Atlanta, Denver, Tampa, Raleigh, Houston, Austin and Dallas. Manchester offers direct flights into a couple of these with more limited departure dates and days; New York, Las Vegas, Orlando and Atlanta.
