With its design inspired by pre-Inca structures, Colca Lodge uses earth, stone and straw to create a mythical environment intimately connected to its stunning gardens and the local terrain.
Located in the Colca Valley, the hotel is built on the banks of the River Colca and surrounded by pre-Inca agricultural terraces. Each of the lodge’s 45 traditional-style rooms have an impressive view towards the valley and out over the lodge’s gardens. Most of the rooms benefit from a creative heating system that has minimal environmental impact, using heat-radiating stone slabs warmed by geothermal energy.
After a day of exploring the rich environment of the Colca Canyon, relax in the lodge’s incredible thermal pools and hot springs. Each of the four pools on-site is filled by natural springs which produce water heated to temperatures of up to 80°C that contains healthy minerals perfect for relaxation. Enjoy a rejuvenating dip in the pools under a blanket of stars as you take in the perfect natural surroundings of the Colca Lodge.
