Itinerary

Once you arrive in Bangkok, you will be met and transferred to The Peninsula Bangkok
A whole day to explore this captivating city. Your first stop will be the Royal Grand Palace, before heading to Wat Pho to admire the famous Buddha statue. Cruise along Chao Phraya River in a long-tail boat, stopping for a photo opportunity at Wat Arun. Spend the evening wandering through the city’s Chinatown.
Upgrade to  The Siam Bangkok
This morning transfer by air from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport to Chiang Mai, where you will be transferred to Anantara Chiang Mai Resort & Spa for a three-night stay. Next to the Mae Ping River, the hotel offers spacious rooms and a breathtaking swimming pool.
Attend a class at the Pantawan Cooking School, around 10 minutes away from Chiang Mai. Lots of the ingredients used in classes are actually grown in the school’s own garden. Before you start cooking today you will visit a local market to select your ingredients and learn more about them. The chef will show you a tutorial demonstration before you try your hand at cooking for yourself.
Enjoy an early morning visit to the market, before heading out to Wat U-Mong; a sacred site dating back to the 14th century. The next stop today is Wat Suan Dok, where the Chiang Mai royal family were buried. After a lunch of Khao Soy, a noodle soup, visit the important temples of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep and Wat Phra Singh.
Fly to Phuket from Chiang Mai Airport. Upon arrival you will be transferred to SALA Phuket Resort & Spa to check-in for your five-night stay.
Another cooking class today, at the Phuket Thai Cookery School. Enjoy making your own lunch and relax to eat it, admiring the beautiful ocean views.
Take a tour of Phuket to discover street food. Some of the delights you’ll sample include dim sum, Hokkien noodles, local coffee and Khao Kaeng, a roti with Malaysian influences. After a tour of the Old Town, the afternoon is free for you to relax as you wish.
A day at leisure for you to discover more of Phuket. Head to the beach, indulge in more food, or relax at your hotel’s sumptuous spa.
Another day to explore. Head north of Phuket to discover dense jungle, amazing wildlife and fascinating parks. Keep your camera handy as you pass cascading waterfalls and visit local craftspeople.
Spend the morning relaxing at your hotel, before heading to the airport. If you’re hungry for more, ask your Travel Specialist about extending your Far East Adventure; otherwise head home with a full stomach and a whole new collection of recipes to recreate at home.
