A classic itinerary for first time or repeat visitors to Australia.
Enjoy free time to explore the sights and attractions of Sydney; embark on a romantic Sydney Harbour Dinner Cruise and take in the spectacular vistas of Jamison Valley in the Blue Mountains.
Visit Australia’s Red Centre for an outback adventure at Ayers Rock Resort where you will enjoy an al fresco dinner as the sun sets over Uluru and Kata Tjuta (The Olgas).
Watch as the sun rises over the desert and Uluru and wander through Walpa Gorge at Kata Tjuta.
Spend a leisurely two days in the tropical Queensland capital of Brisbane, take a river cruise to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, a refuge for hundreds of injured or orphaned koalas, kangaroos and wallabies.
Your holiday to Australia would not be complete without time to relax on pristine beaches and to witness one of the Natural Wonders of the World, so enjoy four nights on Hamilton Island in the Whitsundays. Sink your toes in to the dazzling white silica sands of Whitehaven Beach and head underwater to snorkel at Hardy Reef, located on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.
On arrival at Sydney Airport you will be transferred by private car to your city centre accommodation. The remainder of the day is free for you to explore the downtown area, wander along the waterfront at Circular Quay or have a leisurely stroll through Sydney’s impressive Botanical Gardens.
A full day to explore this stunning city at your leisure. Wander around the charming Harbour Rocks area and stroll around Darling Harbour where you will find many attractions, restaurants, bars and shops. Head out east to Sydney’s beaches and watch locals surf at Bondi Beach or take the beautiful coastal walk to Coogee Beach. Early evening board the MV Sydney 2000 for a three-course Sydney Harbour Dinner Cruise.
Sydney’s comprehensive network of public transport makes it easy to explore at your own pace. Take the Sydney Metro to visit some of the trendy neighbourhoods such as Surry Hills or Newtown, renowned for its bohemian arts scene. Take a local ferry across the harbour to Taronga for spectacular harbour and city views or to Watsons Bay for fish and chips at Doyle’s Waterfront Restaurant.
Head out west on your AAT Kings tour to the beautiful Blue Mountains. Take in the spectacular views of Jamison Valley and the Three Sisters rock formations from Echo Point. Visit the quaint town of Leura with its antique shops and street cafés. Stop at Featherdale Wildlife Park to feed kangaroos, wallabies and emus before cruising back to Sydney along the Parramatta River.
Fly to Ayers Rock Resort in Australia’s Red Centre. Transfer to your hotel, where the afternoon is free for you to enjoy some of the complimentary attractions and activities available to guests, such as guided garden walks and bush food experiences. This evening’s Sounds of Silence dinner takes place as the sun sets over Uluru and Kata Tjuta National Park, accompanied by the sounds of a didgeridoo.
Rise early this morning to witness the changing colours as the sun rises over Uluru, the sand dunes and desert. Your guide will give you an overview of the history of the area, where Aboriginal people have lived for over 22,000 years. You will stop to take in panoramic views of Kata Tjuta, also known as the Olgas, before taking a walk through Walpa Gorge.
Fly from Ayers Rock to Brisbane, where on arrival you will be transferred to your hotel by private car. The Brisbane River winds its way through the city and offers many attractions and parklands along the Southbank. The city offers various attractions, such as the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art and the beautiful Botanical Gardens.

A short flight from Brisbane brings you to the Whitsundays, a group of 74 islands just off the Queensland Coast at the southern end of Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. On arrival at Hamilton Island take a short transfer to your accommodation. The remainder of the day is free for you to enjoy the extensive range of resort amenities.
Depart from Hamilton Island Marina for a half-day cruise around the tropical Whitsunday Islands. Sail the clear waters of the Solway Passage past remote islands and beautiful bays to the award-winning white silica sand Whitehaven Beach. You will have up to two hours to enjoy lazing on the beach or swimming in the azure waters before returning to Hamilton Island.
A full day at sea, sailing through the Whitsunday Islands to Hardy Reef located on the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Three hours are spent at the pontoon, where there are a range of activities on offer, including semi-submersible rides and underwater chambers for coral viewing, as well as full use of snorkelling equipment. For an additional cost you can join certified or introductory scuba diving or scenic helicopter flights.
A final day to relax and enjoy the tropical surroundings of the Whitsunday Islands. You may wish to just laze poolside or at the beach, though more active visitors may wish to take the hiking trail to Passage Peak for spectacular views of the neighbouring islands. For a magical end to your Australia holiday we recommend an optional sunset dinner cruise.
