Antarctic Adventure

Explore Magnificent Antarctica On This Amazing Adventure Tour

Antarctic Adventure

The frozen wilderness of Antarctica is like nowhere else on Earth. On this adventure, you will venture down to one of the most unexplored places on the planet.

Starting in Argentina’s capital Buenos Aires, spend two nights discovering the vibrant and colourful heartbeat of the country. Next stop is Ushuaia in Tierra del Fuego, regarded as the most southerly city in the world and a jumping off point for Antarctic voyages.

Aboard the G Expedition ship, cross the legendary Drakes Passage before the calm waters of the Antarctic peninsula flatten out before you. Now the sheer beauty of the icebound continent waits to be discovered. Navigate through ice flows and towering icebergs and experience close encounters with the local wildlife. Sit among hundreds of thousands of penguins in their colonies, spot albatrosses circling the ship and walk amongst giant elephant seals.

The best time to visit this frozen wilderness is between November and early March. November is when the ice is at its most pristine after a long winter and the larger-the-life landscapes are said to be at their finest, whereas further into the season wildlife becomes more and more abundant as penguin chicks hatch and whales spotting is more common.

Here at Inspiring Travel Company we think going to Antarctica at any time is guaranteed to be one of the best adventures any traveller can make.
