      Explore the historic city and soak up the plentiful culture. The striking fountain in the centre of the Plaza Mayor (or Plaza de Armas) dates back to the 1650s, and the square is impressively bordered by a parade of bright yellow buildings, including the Municipal Palace, as well as the majestic cathedral.               This morning you are free to do some more exploring around Machu Picchu. Climb up to the top of Huayna Picchu for bird’s eye views of the citadel, or trek to the Sun Gate for more spectacular views.                     This morning depart early for Easter Island, one of the most remote and magical places in the world. You will instantly recognise the Moai statues, dotted around the island. Hanga Roa town is home to an interesting museum that details the island’s history. Visitors to the island can also choose to take part in activities such as hiking, horseback riding and cycling tours.
